Gabba Gorilla Expeditions uses destination-specific photography so travelers are not shown a different park under the wrong destination name. The WordPress theme downloads these photographs into the local Media Library during setup; the live front-end does not hotlink these source files.

V7 Mountain Gorilla Image Policy
Gabba Gorilla Expeditions uses mountain gorilla photography for gorilla trekking content in Uganda and Rwanda. The website’s mountain-gorilla photography is associated with Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Mgahinga Gorilla National Park and Volcanoes National Park, or consists of mountain-gorilla photographs supplied directly for use on the Gabba website. Lowland gorilla imagery is reserved for Congo and Kahuzi-Biega content.
The four locally bundled files named mountain-gorilla-user-01.jpg through mountain-gorilla-user-04.jpg were supplied directly for this website. They are described generically as mountain gorilla photographs and are not assigned to a specific park unless the source information supports that claim.

V10 uses separate photography for the country collection cards, country safari section banners, package cards and Safari Journal. This is intentional so the homepage does not recycle the same photograph between major sections.
Uganda and Rwanda gorilla-focused visuals remain mountain-gorilla imagery. Lowland gorilla photography remains reserved for Congo and Kahuzi-Biega content.

The additional Burundi itinerary uses A gishora.jpg, a Wikimedia Commons photograph themed around Burundi’s royal-drumming tradition. The full source and license record is stored in the imported Media Library metadata.
V12 Slider Expansion
Additional country-slider photography is sourced from Wikimedia Commons and stored with source, credit and license metadata in the WordPress Media Library. The new sources cover Akagera National Park, Maasai Mara, Serengeti National Park, Stone Town and Nungwi in Zanzibar, and Lake Tanganyika in Bujumbura.
