Clear booking terms

Your confirmed quotation will explain payment schedules, cancellation conditions, permit rules, insurance requirements and any supplier-specific conditions. Please read the final terms supplied with your booking before payment.

How Booking Conditions Are Applied

Safari arrangements can involve several independent suppliers, national-park authorities, permit systems, airlines and accommodation providers. The final quotation or booking confirmation supplied for your trip should therefore be read together with this page. Supplier-specific restrictions may apply to permits, flights, special offers and non-refundable services.

Deposits, Balances and Confirmation

A booking is treated as confirmed only after the required payment has been received and Gabba Gorilla Expeditions has confirmed the reservation in writing. The payment schedule, currency, bank or card instructions and any transfer charges are stated in the proposal or invoice for the specific trip. Do not send money to account details received from an unexpected source without verifying them through the official company contact information on this website.

Permits and Other Capacity-Controlled Services

Gorilla, chimpanzee and other permits can have stricter change, cancellation or refund conditions than ordinary accommodation. Where a permit is required, the proposal will explain the amount needed to secure it and the conditions communicated for that booking. Availability can change until the reservation has been completed.

Changes, Cancellations and Supplier Conditions

If you request a change after services have been confirmed, we will explain any additional cost or supplier penalty before proceeding where possible. Cancellation charges depend on timing and the conditions attached to the booked services. Some items may be non-refundable. The trip-specific confirmation remains the clearest place to check the conditions that apply to your reservation.

Travel Insurance and Personal Responsibility

Travelers should arrange suitable travel insurance for the activities and destinations in their itinerary and ensure that passports, visas, health documentation and other personal travel requirements are valid. Requirements can change and may depend on nationality or travel history, so official government and health sources should be checked before departure.

Questions About Your Booking

If anything in a proposal, invoice or booking condition is unclear, ask before making payment. Contact info@gorillatrekkinginuganda-rwanda.com or call/WhatsApp +256 775 031 318. You can also return to the contact page and send a detailed message.

Prices, Quotations and Availability

A website itinerary is a planning example and should not be treated as a final live quotation unless it is specifically issued to you as such. Accommodation, permit and transport availability can change. A proposal prepared for your dates will state the current price, currency, included services and any important exclusions. If a supplier changes availability before confirmation, we may propose a reasonable alternative rather than assume the original space still exists.

Accommodation and Itinerary Substitutions

Safari routes sometimes need practical adjustments because of availability, road conditions, park operations, flight schedules or other circumstances. Where a named lodge is unavailable before booking, we can propose an alternative in a similar category and explain any price difference. After confirmation, changes are handled according to the conditions attached to the booked services and the practical situation at the time.

Force Majeure and Events Beyond Reasonable Control

Travel can be affected by events outside the reasonable control of a tour operator, including severe weather, government action, border restrictions, transport disruption, natural events or changes to protected-area operations. When such circumstances affect a journey, the available solution depends on supplier policies, safety, timing and what alternatives remain practical. Travel insurance that covers the risks relevant to your itinerary is strongly recommended.

Conduct, Safety and Guide Instructions

Travelers are expected to follow lawful instructions from guides, rangers, accommodation staff and relevant authorities, particularly around wildlife, trekking, water activities and protected areas. An activity may be changed or stopped when continuing would create an unreasonable safety, legal or conservation concern. Respectful conduct toward communities, staff, wildlife and other travelers is required.

Accuracy of Personal Information

Names, passport details and other information supplied for permits, flights or reservations must be accurate. Corrections after ticketing or permit processing may be restricted or may create additional charges. Check important booking information when it is sent to you and notify Gabba promptly if something appears incorrect.
