About Gabba Gorilla Expeditions
Gabba Gorilla Expeditions is a Uganda-based safari company planning private journeys across Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania, Zanzibar and Burundi. Our base in Kabale places us close to the mountain-gorilla regions of Bwindi and Mgahinga and within practical reach of Rwanda, while our safari network allows us to build complete East Africa wildlife, primate, cultural and beach itineraries.
We do not treat a safari as a list of attractions. We look at road time, regional flights, permit dates, lodge location, vehicle choice, border connections, activity sequence and the pace that suits the travelers. A short gorilla safari and a three-week East Africa circuit need very different planning, but both should feel clear, comfortable and realistic from the first proposal to the final day on the road.
Why Travel with Gabba Gorilla Expeditions
Good safari planning is more than booking a lodge and a vehicle. Gabba connects geography, permits, transport, accommodation and local guiding into one practical private journey.
Local planning from Kabale gives Gabba a strong practical base near Uganda’s mountain-gorilla region and Rwanda connections.
Driving days, border crossings, regional flights and activity locations are considered before the itinerary is presented.
Prado, Safari Land Cruiser, Safari Van and driver-guide arrangements are matched to the route and group rather than treated as one-size-fits-all.
Mountain-gorilla, chimpanzee and other controlled activities are positioned carefully around the confirmed travel sequence.
We can design value-focused, mid-range, luxury or mixed-category journeys while considering lodge location as well as comfort.
Uganda and Rwanda can connect with Kenya, Tanzania, Zanzibar and Burundi when the total trip length supports a comfortable regional route.

Combined East Africa Safaris
These itineraries connect the strongest experiences across borders: mountain gorillas with classic wildlife, Kenya with Tanzania, safari with Zanzibar, or longer grand circuits through several countries. Combined safaris remain separate from the individual country rows so the same itinerary and photograph do not repeat elsewhere on the homepage.
